Engineer, Structural Engineer

Advan Tec Marine is a global leader in the design and manufacturing of specialty marine closures, supporting commercial, military, and luxury vessel builders worldwide. We’re looking for an experienced Engineer II to join our Engineering team and help bring innovative marine solutions from concept to production.

• Lead small engineering/design teams and support new product development
• Create 3D models, detailed drawings, BOMs, calculations, and specifications
• Perform structural analysis, scantling calculations, and FEA studies
  
  Apply DFMA principles to deliver cost-effective, high-quality designs
• Prepare documentation and submissions for regulatory approval
• Collaborate with manufacturing, sales, supply chain, clients, and inspectors

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• 7+ years of engineering experience, ideally in manufacturing
• Strong Solid Works skills
• Experience with steel/aluminum design and structural analysis
• Project or small team leadership experience
• Marine or naval architecture experience is an asset
• EIT or PEng designation is an asset

• Work on globally recognized marine products
