Experienced Dealer 1 – Elements Casino Chilliwack

Under the direct supervision of the Manager, Table Games or Shift Manager, this position is responsible for providing dealing services to customers while contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members. Ensures adherence to the Company’s policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example, and supports Great Canadian’s learning environment.

• Deals card games
• Maintains the security of the table and its float
• Controls the table in the correct order of play; closes bets at the appropriate time
• Refers disputes, irregularities or suspicious activities to the Manager
• Verifies chip refills and credits
• Tidies workstation and pit area
• Communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
• Builds strong working relationships with guests and team members
• Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
• Performs other duties as assigned or directed

• Must be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
• 6 month professional card dealer experience in Blackjack
• Serving It Right Certification
• Ability to successfully obtain and maintain a Gaming License

• Regular casino environment, standing for long periods of time, dealing cards for long periods of time and non-traditional work hours
