This Financial Advisor manages a member portfolio while supporting current and potential members. The work includes deposit and investment products, complex lending, and life-stage financial advice. Advisors may recommend solutions or refer members appropriately.
Key Responsibilities:
Build relationships with current and potential members
Process personal loans, mortgages, and RRSP loans
Open accounts and arrange cards, credit, and insurance products
Promote Tru Cooperative Bank products and pursue referrals
Complete loan applications, credit investigations, and estate administration
Requirements:
Two-year related diploma or equivalent education and experience
Mutual Funds License required; PFP is an asset
Two years as a Member Advisor or equivalent
Complete the internal Tru Cooperative certification program
Plan workloads, solve problems, and use banking software proficiently
Apply financial advice, lending knowledge, and investment expertise while managing member relationships for Tru Cooperative Bank.
