Supervised Practical Program

Overview

Are you a newly graduated hair design student who knows they can use more supervised practical experience and further tips from the top stylists in the valley? This program may be a great fit for you.

We know that the leap between school and independence behind the chair is often a tricky one, and we want to set up as many people as possible for success as we can. One of the biggest indicators of success is available mentorship, especially in those early months. This supervised practical program provides three months of supervised experience and additional classes to put to practice the opportunity.

3 month Program, 16 weeks, 240–320 hrs scheduled
Intermittent shifts
Unpaid

• Supervised appointments
• Invitation to ongoing pertinent classes
• Monthly scheduled check‑ins with supervisor which review:
• Self and supervisor evaluation forms assessing effectiveness of consultation, timing of service, and results.
• Track # of services performed
• Client feedback review
• Final report card and coaching session

• Completed basic hair training for 520 hrs
• Be a willing learner, prepared to attend continued in‑house education
• Able to execute basic color theory & cuts

This is not a paid position as supervision is required; tips will be released at the end of the 3 months.
