Breast Imaging Technologist in BC

Fraser Health needs a Breast Imaging Technologist passionate about patient care and diagnostic imaging. This role engages in delivering comprehensive breast health exams and interventions.

As a vital member of the medical imaging team, you will perform diagnostic mammography and breast ultrasound procedures while maintaining patient comfort and care. Candidates should possess CAMRT certification and have a solid understanding of breast imaging techniques and patient safety practices to excel in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and conduct imaging examinations for patients

• Explain procedures and provide guidance throughout

• Manage imaging equipment and ensure quality

• Participate in quality assurance and control measures

• Document patient interactions accurately

Requirements:

• Completed CAMRT/BCIT Breast Imaging certification

• Experience in diagnostic imaging practices

• Strong understanding of patient care protocols

• Excellent communication abilities with patients and staff

• Capacity to work under pressure in clinical settings
