We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Social Worker ,Long Term Care to provide services at Bradley Centre-Chilliwack General Hospital located in Chilliwack.

Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in social work
- One year's recent, related experience in a hospital setting or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Full registration with the BC College of Social Workers
Reporting administratively to the Manager, Clinical Services and clinically to the Clinical Practice Leader, Social Worker, the Social Worker, Long Term Care uses professional and program standards in providing psycho-social assessment, crisis intervention counselling and specific resident treatment, as well as assisting with tasks that are a cross-responsibility of all team members.
ResponsibilitiesResident Council and Family Support Group meetings; takes minutes and arrranges speakers.
Baccalaureate degree from an approved school of Social Work. One year's recent related experience working with the elderly in residential settings.
Current full registration with the BC College of Social Workers.

- Demonstrated ability to plan and organize work and set priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with residents, family members/significant others, staff and volunteers.
- Ability to operate related equipment
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
