Join Fraser Health as a Casual MHSU Clinician in Chilliwack, B.C. and make a difference in community mental health and substance use services through supportive care.
We are looking for an experienced clinician with at least a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and two years of related practice. You'll focus on delivering client-centered care and advocacy, fostering recovery, and empowering individuals to navigate their health journeys. This role requires strong communication and assessment skills to effectively support clients' needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate on treatment plans and follow-up support
• Facilitate client and family support through counseling
• Conduct assessments to inform care strategies
• Connect clients to community treatment resources
• Provide necessary advocacy and information to clients
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a health-related discipline
• Minimum two years’ experience in mental health
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License required
• Skilled in case management and effective communication
• Capable of maintaining discretion and confidentiality
