Position: Dietitian for First Nations Health Programming
Location: Agassiz

Support First Nations health as a Community Dietitian. Deliver comprehensive nutritional services aimed at improving community wellness and healthy eating practices in the Fraser Salish region.

In this impactful role, you will provide a wide range of dietitian services through collaboration with other health professionals and community organizations. Your efforts will include conducting nutritional assessments and providing culturally appropriate education to enhance community health outcomes. Focused on prevention and health promotion, you’ll address various dietary needs across different population segments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct nutritional assessments and tailor education

• Collaborate on health initiatives with local partners

• Promote community-wide health and nutrition strategies

• Support First Nations dietary needs and preferences

• Facilitate training on nutrition-related topics

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Foods and Nutrition mandatory

• Registration with College of Dietitians of BC required

• 3-5 years relevant experience preferred

• Knowledge of First Nations community health issues

• Valid BC driver’s license needed
