Role:
Business Analyst – Visa POD
Initial Term: 6 months
Working Hours:
PST
The Business Analyst supporting the Visa POD will play a key role in the ongoing evolution, optimization, and support of Visa products and processes. This role focuses on continuous delivery, operational improvements, and enhancement initiatives across the end‑to‑end card ecosystem. Working within a cross‑functional POD, the BA will collaborate closely with product, technology, operations, risk, and external partners (including Visa and vendors) to ensure efficient delivery of enhancements and alignment with regulatory and Visa network requirements.
Product& Delivery Support
- Support the Visa POD in delivering ongoing enhancements, defect resolution, and operational improvements across Visa produc
- Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements aligned to POD priorities and sprint goal
- Manage and refine backlog items in partnership with Product Owner, ensuring readiness for sprint plannin
- Act as a liaison between business, operations, technology teams, and external partners (e.g., Visa, processors, vendor)
- Facilitate working sessions to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and drive alignment on solution desi
- gn.
Support coordination across teams for cross‑functional initiatives impacting cardholder experien
- Develop and maintain artifacts such as process flows, data mappings, business rules, and impact assessme
- nts.
Analyze end‑to‑end impacts across card systems (e.g., card processor, fraud tools, digital channels, core banki - ng).Ensure requirements align with Visa network rules, compliance, and audit expectations.
- Implementation Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, reduce friction, and enhance member experien
- ce.
Support incident analysis, root cause identification, and remediation planning for production is - su es.
Contribute to documenting and optimizing operational workflows and cont - rols.
- Support UAT planning, test case development, and coordination across stakeho
- lders.
Participate in defect triage and validation of fixes to ensure quality del - ivery.
Assist with release readiness activities and post‑implementation valid - ation.
- Experience 5–10+ years of Business Analyst experience in financial services or payments/cards
- Domain. Experience supporting Visa credit products in a delivery or operations envir
- onment. Proven experience working in Agile delivery teams (Scrum/K
- anban). Solid analytical, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Familiarity with card processors and digital banking integrations pre
- ferred. Business Analysis certification (CBAP, CCBA, PMI‑PBA) and/or Agile certification (CSM, PSM) considered an
- asset.
