About The Team

We conduct hundreds of live auctions each year around the world. It takes a hardworking team of energetic people in a wide variety of full‑time and part‑time roles to conduct a successful multi‑million dollar auction – from equipment inspectors, yard managers and operators to administrative staff and customer service representatives.

Job Description

This role supports the successful execution of auctions and daily site operations. Crew Members work across a wide variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to equipment handling, customer service, driving, site upkeep, and auction‑day support. This position requires flexibility, teamwork, and a commitment to safety and customer experience while performing duties that ensure our auctions run smoothly and professionally.

Responsibilities
  • Support auction yard operations by checking in, staging, tagging, and releasing equipment
  • Safely operate light and heavy equipment, following company standards and certifications
  • Assist customers on‑site and provide sale‑day support such as shuttle driving, cart driving, or customer service
  • Maintain site cleanliness, perform janitorial and groundskeeping tasks, and operate support vehicles like water trucks
  • Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance at all times while reporting hazards promptly
  • Work collaboratively with yard management, operations staff, and the inspection team to deliver seamless auction events
  • Contribute ideas for continuous improvement while upholding company values and delivering excellent customer experiences
Qualifications
  • Valid driver’s license (class requirements may vary by location/role)
  • Strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and following procedures
  • Ability to operate or willingness to learn to operate light/heavy equipment (training provided)
  • Customer service skills with a professional, approachable demeanor
  • Willingness to perform physical labor and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Flexibility to work extended hours, evenings, and weekends during auction periods
  • Previous experience in yard operations, equipment handling, or auction environments
  • Knowledge of farming, construction, or industrial equipment
  • Certification in First Aid, Loader Operation, or other relevant safety training
  • Experience in customer‑facing roles (hospitality, retail, service industry)
