Strategic Procurement Buyer Opportunity

Take your procurement career to new heights at Puratos Canada as a Strategic Procurement Buyer. This role, based in Chilliwack or Mississauga, focuses on supplier management and cost efficiency.

You will be responsible for managing significant procurement budgets (over $20M), conducting contract negotiations, and enhancing supplier partnerships.

Your role will involve supporting production teams and financial planning through strategic sourcing and market analysis. In addition, you will play a crucial part in cross-functional initiatives and risk management for high-volume materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Determine sourcing requirements and select vendors

• Conduct pricing negotiations and contract finalization

• Support finance with budgeting and financial analysis

• Track supplier performance and manage relationships

• Extract procurement data for reporting and presentations

Requirements:

• 3-5+ years in procurement or supply chain roles

• Direct experience in vendor management and cost management

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems; SAP an asset

• Ability to establish positive relationships with stakeholders

• Highly organized with strong analytical and time management skills
