Position: Buyer in Procurement at Puratos
Become a pivotal force in procurement with Puratos Canada as a Buyer. This position offers the flexibility of Chilliwack or Mississauga as your base for national operations.

In this role, you will negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships, ensuring alignment with Puratos' high standards and business objectives. Your tasks will involve extensive market research, supplier performance tracking, and strategic sourcing to mitigate risks associated with procurement. Interacting with various departments, you will coordinate efforts to support production and finance teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure effective vendor selection and sourcing

• Negotiate pricing and contract terms with suppliers

• Collaborate with stakeholders for operational support

• Report on cost savings and procurement data

• Identify synergies across procurement operations

Requirements:

• 3-5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain

• Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing and vendor management

• Experience with ERP and MRP software systems; SAP is a plus

• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills

• Proven ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships
