As we grow our team, we’re looking for passionate individuals who care deeply about plant health, sustainable practices, and continuous improvement.

We’re looking for a Nursery Lead responsible for the day-to-day activities in the propagation and early vegetative stages of cannabis production. Reporting to the Nursery Supervisor, this role is critical to ensuring a strong foundation for each crop cycle through attentive care and SOP adherence. The Nursery Lead fosters team development, enforces biosecurity protocols, and actively contributes to IPM strategies to maintain plant vigor and early-stage success.

pay range

CA $20.00/hr - CA $25.00/hr

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead execution of all nursery tasks, including cloning, transplanting, tray sanitation, and staging transitions.
  • Support implementation of daily schedules and ensure task completion with quality and consistency.
  • Monitor rooting success rates and early plant development, flagging abnormalities promptly.
  • Participate in IPM activities, including scouting, foliar applications, and cleaning routines.
  • Ensure all activities follow SOPs and Health Canada regulations, with full traceability in inventory software.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and workflow in propagation spaces.
  • Train team members on safe handling, hygiene, and propagation best practices.
  • Contribute to monthly inventory audits and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • 1–2 years in cannabis or horticultural propagation environments.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in humid environments.
  • Willingness to obtain or hold a valid Pesticide Applicator Certificate (required).
  • Strong communication skills;
    Spanish fluency is an asset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
