Position: Maintenance Technician Role at Trouw Nutrition
Join Trouw Nutrition as a Maintenance Technician based in Chilliwack, responsible for ensuring equipment reliability. This full-time position plays a vital role in supporting production through maintenance and repairs.

In this role, you'll be proactive in identifying and resolving issues while conducting essential preventive maintenance and inspections. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and able to work with electrical systems and perform basic boiler maintenance while managing inventory and coordinating repair schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct preventive maintenance and equipment inspections regularly

• Fabricate and install equipment or systems when required

• Fill out necessary permits for each maintenance task

• Enforce safety protocols to minimize workplace incidents

• Collaborate with the Plant Manager on major expenditures

Requirements:

• Millwright certification or working towards it (asset)

• Proficiency in maintenance systems and work order platforms

• Ability to regularly lift items up to 25 kg

• Willingness to participate in on-call and rotational shifts

• Capability to focus on details in a busy environment
