Position: Building Maintenance Supervisor II Role
Lead the reliable operation of building maintenance as a Supervisor II in the Recreation and Culture Department. With a focus on supervision and project management, ensure all standards are met under safety guidelines.

We seek a dedicated individual with at least five years of general maintenance experience, including two in a supervisory role. You'll oversee staff, manage budgets, and coordinate maintenance projects while ensuring safety practices are maintained at all times. Your expertise in building trades and managerial skills will be crucial in fostering an effective work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and evaluate maintenance staff performance

• Organize materials and equipment for projects

• Prepare budgets and reports for operations

• Respond to building emergencies after hours

• Ensure compliance with safety measures during maintenance

Requirements:

• Minimum five years in building and general maintenance

• Two years in a supervisory capacity

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and UNIT 4

• Valid B.C. Driver’s Licence required

• Ability to maintain security clearance with RCMP
