Position: Housekeeper Needed BC
Elevate your cleaning career with Phoenix Society as a Housekeeper in Chilliwack, BC. This part-time position requires flexibility and a commitment to cleanliness and safety during weekend shifts.

You will be responsible for comprehensive cleaning and maintenance services, assisting in keeping the facility’s suites and common areas immaculate. Reporting to the Program Manager, you will collaborate with both staff and volunteers in this permanent role. Effective communication and efficient task management are key components for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform heavy cleaning of floors and facilities

• Handle laundry, ensuring linens are maintained

• Service and supply restrooms adequately

• Dust, clean, and disinfect all surfaces

• Perform safety checks and notify management of issues

Requirements:

• Completion of Grade 12 is essential

• 1 to 3 years in custodial or housekeeping roles

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license required

• Must pass a criminal records check

• First Aid and CPR certification required
