Join Elim Village as a Building Maintenance Specialist in Chilliwack, B.C. This full-time position focuses on facility upkeep and equipment maintenance in a supportive environment for seniors.

In this crucial role, you'll ensure the safety and comfort of over 1,000 residents by maintaining our facilities. Responsibilities include minor repairs, cleaning duties, and preventive maintenance all while upholding the highest standards of safety and empathy toward older adults.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with resident move-ins and prepare units

• Perform electrical troubleshooting and repairs

• Conduct ongoing preventative maintenance on facilities

• Manage grounds-keeping and external property maintenance

• Oversee garbage removal and recycling processes

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of relevant maintenance experience

• High school diploma or GED; building trades certificate is a plus

• Skilled in using various power tools

• Experience with utility vehicles for snow removal

• Reliable transportation is necessary
