Chilliwack Custodian Position

Help maintain the Rain City Housing facility in Chilliwack as a Custodian. Ensure a clean, secure, and friendly environment for residents needing support through facility upkeep.

As a Custodian, your role is integral to Rain City Housing's mission to provide a home for every individual. You will be engaged in cleaning, maintenance tasks, and basic security that uphold the dignity and comfort of the residents. Guided by the Operations Manager, you'll contribute to a vibrant community atmosphere while performing essential duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute cleaning and sanitation duties across the facility

• Perform minor repairs and maintenance as needed

• Assist in preparing tenant rooms for new occupants

• Conduct security patrols within the building and grounds

• Collaborate with colleagues to support program operations

Requirements:

• Minimum Grade 12 education necessary

• Valid First Aid and Building Service Worker Certificates

• One year of relevant experience required

• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and tenants

• Must be physically able to complete custodial tasks
