Overview

The Flower Room Lead is responsible for managing cultivation team members through the critical flowering stage, from flip to harvest. Reporting to the Flower Room Supervisor, this role ensures plants receive optimal care and that defoliation, pruning, and harvest activities are executed to SOPs. This Lead plays an essential role in maintaining product quality, identifying issues proactively, and enforcing compliance across the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily flowering tasks: defoliation, staking, netting, pruning, flashing, and harvest prep.
  • Monitor canopy health and structure, proactively flagging issues related to pests, nutrition, or environment.
  • Work closely with IPM teams to scout and apply foliar or preventative treatments as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and compliant workspace, ensuring full adherence to SOPs and biosecurity standards.
  • Support supervisor in scheduling and coordinating teams to maintain optimal labor flow.
  • Train team members on best practices in flowering techniques and harvest preparation.
  • Ensure accurate inventory tracking and traceability throughout the flowering phase.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in cannabis flowering rooms or similar horticultural environments.
  • High attention to detail and quality; excellent team leadership and communication skills.
  • Fluent in Spanish (required);
    English proficiency necessary for reporting and compliance.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in physically demanding roles.
  • Pesticide Applicator Certificate or willingness to obtain (required).
  • Comfortable using Excel and seed-to-sale tracking systems.
