Position: Assembler (AFS)
Advanced Flow Systems Contract Manufacturing aims to be the premier provider of high-quality fabrication, mechanical and electrical integration services, while prioritizing professionalism, innovation, and client satisfaction.
Our Advanced Flow Systems facility is looking for an energetic Assembler to join our Contract Manufacturing Department in Chilliwack, BC.

Increases are then reviewed throughout employment.The Assembler is responsible for working in a manufacturing environment with a team of assemblers, insulators and other professional trades, assembling large and small components on a variety of projects
Essential functions for this role are:
Performs tasks involving physical labor and operate hand and power tools and wrenching and tightening bolts.Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Perform general tasks as required in a manufacturing environment.Work in accordance with documented procedures and complete all applicable recordsExperience, Qualifications, and
Skills required:
Ability to work without close supervision.Ability to effectively communicate and problem solve with supervisors and team membersAbility to use a tape measure and a ladderAbility to use a torque wrench, impacts, and grindersBe mechanically inclined6 months – 1 years’ experience in a heavy industrial setting or previous experience doing assembly in manufacturing environment.Some experience working with power toolsExperience using overhead cranesThank you for your interest in Advanced Flow Systems
