The role includes applying thread sealant and Loctite to threaded fittings and pipes, following proper detailing procedures with exceptional attention to detail, use of sandblasters, drills and tap holes and reading a tape measure to the closest 1/16" with proficiency.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing or carpentry setting, the ability to handle small components and tools efficiently, ability to interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and manuals to assemble components accurately and familiarity with hand tools and power tools. They must be able to use these tools safely and efficiently. Clear communication is key for interacting with team members, supervisors, and quality control to ensure smooth operations.

Schedule:
Monday-Friday
Shifts:
6:00 am to 2:30 pm
Wage: $20-$22 (based on experience)
Steel Toe Boots required
A vehicle is required as this location is not transit friendly
Must be legally permitted to work full‑time in British Columbia

Responsibilities
Apply thread sealant and Loctite to threaded fittings and pipe.
Follow proper detailing procedure / work instructions.
Proper use of the sandblaster.
Drill and tap holes.
Read a tape measure to the closest 1/16".
Maintain a safe work environment within the department and on each job.
Identify areas for improvement, and use of non‑conformance reports.
Know and understand workplace health and safety rights and responsibilities.
Use the protective clothing, devices, and equipment required for the job.
Complete all applicable quality records.
Perform work in accordance with our documented policies and procedures.
Attention to detail.
Qualifications
Ability to read and interpret production drawings.
Knowledge of equipment, tools, and mechanical devices used for assemblies.
Good mechanical skills and ability to use basic hand tools (drill, tape measure, etc.).
Trained on thread engagement work instructions.
Ability to read a tape measure to the closest 1/16".
Proficiency in using diagnostic and testing equipment.
Attention to detail.
A focus on safety and quality work.

Reliable vehicle required; location is not transit friendly.
Physical and Working Conditions
Regularly required to stand, walk, sit; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities: close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
Exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and weather elements.
Work in a physically demanding environment (lifting, kneeling, standing).
Follow safety regulations and handle equipment.
Steel toe boots required.
Use of other personal protective equipment provided.
