The Role:

The position of Fabricator/Welder works from patterns, blueprints, and engineered drawings, using a variety of tools and machines to fabricate metal parts, weld, and assemble components. This role supports custom manufacturing in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform TIG, MIG, and flux core welding to specifications
  • Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings
  • Use templates and gauges to ensure accuracy of parts and joins
  • Safely operate cranes, rigging, and lift trucks

    Support production targets and continuous improvement with Supervisors/Leads
  • Complete required documentation and follow SOPs
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Assist with assembly, testing, shipping, and installation as needed
What You Bring:
  • Fabrication Red Seal is preferred
  • 3+ years of fabrication/welding experience
  • Thorough knowledge of welding practices, fabrication techniques, and custom machinery or project work
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and shop instructions to meet specifications and tolerances.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, installation knowledge, and basic layout skills.
  • Proficiency with fabrication hand tools and shop equipment.
  • Basic math skills and the ability to accurately read a tape measure.
  • CWB certification is considered an asset
