Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Training

In this role, you will assist in sewage treatment plant operations, handle sludge disposal, and maintain aeration equipment. Your duties will also include cleaning and maintaining various components of the facility. Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor sewage equipment for efficient operations

• Operate sludge disposal and aeration equipment

• Clear obstructions from screens for optimal flow

• Maintain cleanliness of the plant and perform preventive maintenance

• Take samples and perform required tests

Requirements:

• Completed grade 12 education

• Valid B.C. Driver's Licence

• Knowledge of treatment plant operations principles

• Ability to work in wet and odorous conditions

• Capable of performing duties with minimal supervision
