Overview

Deluxe Metal Fabrication Inc is a manufacturer of precision sheet metal parts. We are in Chilliwack, BC, and currently looking for a Sheet Metal Worker to join our team and work safely in an efficient manner.

• Work on sheet metal parts and components.
• Measure and mark dimensions and reference lines on metal sheets.
• Fabricate or alter metal parts.
• Fasten seams or joints by welding, bolting, riveting, or soldering.
• Deburring, sanding, grinding, hardware insertion, assembly, and other duties.
• Confers with supervision, management, maintenance, or others to resolve issues.
• Practices good housekeeping and safety procedures and adheres to all company policies.
• Cut patterns for sheet metal using computerized cutting machines is an asset but not necessary; we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Quality control - Inspect final product quality to make sure specifications are followed.
• Help teammates to clean and organize the shop space.
• Willing to help our in house powder coating team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must be willing to learn how to operate different CNC machines.
• Must be able to demonstrate a good understanding of safety standards, and quality control.
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints and shop drawings.
• Must be detail-oriented, hard-working, and comfortable with hands-on work.
• Able to work individually or as a team.
• Team player, driven and committed to the success of the company.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada.

40 hours per week Monday to Friday. Morning shift.

Payment will be negotiated based on skills and experience.
