CNC Machine Operator

We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operator with experience in turning and milling to join our team. As a Machine Operator at Mill-Turn Machining, you will play a crucial role in the production of high-precision components. • Compute dimensions and tolerances
• Measure and lay out work pieces
• Operate and maintain a variety of machine tools including CNC tools to perform precision machining operations such as sawing, turning, milling, boring, drilling, and other operations
• Adjust for wear to maintain parts in spec
• Fit and assemble machined metal parts and subassemblies using hand and power tools
• Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
• Empty chip bins
• Unload material and accept other deliveries
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Maintain and calibrate precision measuring instruments such as dial indicators, fixed gauges, height gauges and other measuring devices
• Complete and maintain inspection reports
• Deburr and perform other finishing operations on parts
• Perform maintenance on machines and other tools and equipment around the shop
• Any other tasks as asked for by superiors

• Machine shop experience: 3 years (required)
• Experience using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers: 3 years (required)
