Pipe & Precast Production Labourer
The Pipe & Precast Production Labourer is a hands‑on production role supporting the manufacturing of precast concrete products used in infrastructure and construction. This role includes physical work such as form setup, rebar placement, concrete pouring, finishing, material handling, and basic quality checks. You will also help maintain a clean and organized work environment. Training is provided, with opportunities to build skills operating tools and equipment.
This role is best suited for someone who is safety‑focused, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, industrial setting.
- Contribute to the production of high‑quality precast concrete products used in infrastructure and construction projects
- Support safe, efficient, and timely production through teamwork and adherence to established processes
- Develop practical skills in formwork, reinforcement placement, concrete placement, and finishing
- Reinforce a strong safety culture through participation in safety meetings and compliance with safety procedures
- Support product quality by assisting with inspections, repairs, and quality assurance activities
- Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient production environment
- Build experience operating tools, equipment, and machinery through training and on‑the‑job learning
- Provide flexible support across production areas to meet operational demands
- Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Required technical skills: Operate forklifts, cranes, and shop tools safely; maintain PPE and safety compliance.
- Travel requirements: Less than 5%
- Additional requirements: Excellent spoken and written English skills
- Strong mathematical aptitude and proficient keyboard skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
- Exceptional attention to detail and superior organizational abilities
- Proven capacity to perform accurately under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to maintain focus for extended periods while ensuring detailed accuracy
- Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating tact and professionalism when interacting with customers and team members
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
