What You’ll Do

Feed Mill Operator plays a vital role in ensuring efficient production of livestock feed through bulk receiving, mixing, pelleting, and shipping at Chilliwack Mill. You will maintain smooth operations by identifying and resolving issues proactively.

  • Operate production machinery and identify opportunities to optimize performance
  • Ensure quality and food safety standards are met
  • Meet or exceed production targets, record data on production orders and activities
  • Execute small maintenance tasks and repair work on production equipment
  • Promote awareness of unsafe situations and take appropriate action
Who We’re Looking For
  • 2–3 years of manufacturing experience (asset)
  • Good computer skills
  • Forklift certification (preferred)
  • Boiler certificate (Class 5 or higher, preferred)
  • Ability to work in rotating shifts: 5:30 a.m.–2:00 p.m., 1:30 p.m.–10:00 p.m., 9:30 p.m.–6:00 a.m.

  • Willingness to work shifts and overtime
  • Ability to lift 25 kg regularly
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment
  • Team player and coachable
  • Exposure to the elements, noise, dust, and working at heights
  • Basic computer skills with attention to detail
  • Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities
