Quik’s Farm Ltd. is a wholesale cut flower grower based in Chilliwack, BC, with over twenty acres of indoor and twenty acres of seasonal outdoor growing space. Quik’s Farm is geared towards the intense production of cut Chrysanthemums, Oriental Lilies, Alstroemeria, and other seasonal crops utilizing state-of-the-art growing systems and leading-edge technology to produce superior quality products for our diverse customer base throughout Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest USA.
We are currently seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our team. In this full-time role, the ideal candidate will play a critical role in contributing to our marketing initiatives and ensuring their success.
Primary Responsibilities- Coordinate, execute, and optimize marketing campaigns across digital, print, and community channels to support sales and brand growth.
- Work closely with the Sales team to design PowerPoint presentations, sales tools, flyers, and other promotional materials that support customer engagement and revenue goals.
- Collaborate with Sales, Procurement, and Growing teams to build highly effective programs for customers, creating branding for theme enhanced opportunities, store planograms, cross merchandise initiatives, and execution material.
- Plan, create, and manage social media content and campaigns using data-driven and on-brand strategies.
- Organize and maintain a posting schedule to ensure consistent and timely content distribution.
- Lead and coordinate community involvement initiatives, sponsor ships, and events to strengthen brand presence and local engagement.
- Create marketing collateral including brochures, flyers, posters, and promotional materials using Canva, Adobe, Movavi and other design tools.
- Support website updates and revamp initiatives, including content creation, visual design, and coordination with internal or external partners.
- Develop visual assets and video content for marketing and sales use, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines.
- Manage various marketing projects that coincide with direction from management and the Sales Team.
- Conduct market research and analyze social media and campaign performance to inform future strategies.
- Manage multiple marketing projects simultaneously, coordinating timelines, priorities, and deliverables based on direction from management and the sales team.
- Gather, research, and prepare marketing material for internal and external audiences.
- Proactively identify opportunities for improved brand presence and marketing effectiveness, bringing forward ideas and executing approved initiatives.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in marketing, communications, or graphic design or relevant education.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive self-starter who takes initiative and is eager to contribute ideas and solutions.
- Experience creating successful social media content across a variety of platforms
- Strong ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Creative, proactive, and solutions-focused mindset with the ability to take initiative on new ideas and campaigns.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Experience with social media management, marketing campaigns, and brand development.
- A valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License.
Salary: $24.00-$27.00 per hour commensurate on experience.
