Position: Inpatient Surgical Registered Nurse Role

Fraser Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for their Inpatient Surgical Services unit. You will engage in direct patient assessment and collaborative care planning while adhering to BCCNM standards. This position emphasizes empathy and effective communication to ensure excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions using observation and data review

• Collaborate with families to develop care plans

• Participate in the care and discharge planning process

• Coordinate nursing care and delegate tasks to support staff

• Perform non-invasive diagnostic tests on the vascular system

Requirements:

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing

• Current RN registration with the BCCNM

• Completion of Fraser Health's ABI course for specific procedures

• Effective communication skills with clinical expertise

• Ability to teach patients and families about health topics
