Position: Perinatal Nursing Role at Fraser Health

As a Perinatal Registered Nurse, you are integral to the care team, offering comprehensive assessments, care planning, and patient education. You will support mothers and newborns during critical stages of care, ensuring their dignity and rights are upheld. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct complete nursing assessments and develop care interventions

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on care plans

• Advocate for patient rights and informed decision-making

• Teach families effective health management strategies

• Contribute to quality assurance and improvement efforts
Requirements:

• Graduate from a recognized School of Nursing

• Active registration as an RN with BCCNM

• One year of recent clinical experience in perinatal nursing

• Knowledge of maternal/fetal health care protocols

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in diverse settings
