The Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse plays a crucial role in Fraser Health’s delivery of person-centered care for individuals with mental illness and concurrent disorders. Your expertise will involve collaborating with healthcare professionals to create and adapt treatment strategies focused on recovery, self-determination, and therapeutic engagement. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans

• Conduct mental health assessments and monitor client progress

• Establish supportive therapeutic relationships with clients

• Facilitate access to community resources and support services

• Document care plans and client responses accurately
Requirements:

• Completion of an approved nursing or psychiatric nursing program

• Two years of related experience in mental health

• Current registration with the BCCNM

• Valid BC Driver's License

• Strong skills in assessment and client education
