Registered Nurse

Position: Full Time Registered Nurse
Advance your nursing career as a Full Time Registered Nurse at Chilliwack General Hospital's Transition Line. You'll provide direct patient care while working collaboratively in a dynamic healthcare environment.

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in providing comprehensive and person-centered care. You will assess patients, plan and evaluate nursing interventions, and develop care plans in partnership with families and caregivers. This position involves rotating through specialty nursing units, where you will enhance your nursing skills while pursuing applicable post graduate courses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patients and develop individualized care plans

• Collaborate with families in care planning

• Coordinate nursing care and delegate tasks effectively

• Educate patients on health maintenance and self-care

• Document patient care and participate in quality improvement

Requirements:

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing

• Current registration with BCCNM

• Completion of applicable post graduate nursing courses

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification

• Effective communication skills with diverse populations
