Join Fraser Health as an Inpatient Psychiatry Registered Nurse and be part of a supportive team committed to mental health recovery. This role involves comprehensive nursing care and patient advocacy.
At Fraser Health, you will provide and coordinate recovery-oriented psychiatric nursing care. Engaging with patients, you will assess their needs, implement care plans, and play an active role within a multidisciplinary team to support therapeutic programs and quality patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct ongoing assessments and plan patient care
- Facilitate effective communication among care team members
- Advocate for patient rights and dignity
- Participate in nursing committees for patient care
- Provide mentorship and training to recent nursing staff
- Approved School of Nursing graduation
- Registration as an RN or RPN with BCCNM
- Familiarity with mental health treatments and policies
- Proven assessment and crisis intervention skills
- Excellent written and oral communication abilities
