This role calls for a Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse with at least two years of relevant experience. You will provide assessments, treatments, and consultation for clients with mental health and substance use issues. Collaborate with community agencies and educate caregivers while supporting and monitoring complex cases.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide clinical nursing services with comprehensive assessments
• Educate caregivers and professionals on mental health issues
• Administer prescribed psychotropic medications and monitor compliance
• Collaborate with the interprofessional care team on care plans
• Initiate case conferences for planning client care
Requirements:
• Current BCCNM registration as RN/RPN
• Minimum two years of relevant experience
• Valid Class 5 B.C. Driver's License and vehicle access
• Ability to teach and network with care providers
• Knowledge of psychopharmacology and mental health treatment
Utilize your mental health expertise to provide impactful care to clients in Chilliwack while fostering community connections.
