Registered Nurse - Fraser West Community

Join First Nations Health Authority as a Registered Nurse, offering primary care services in Fraser West. This role involves delivering culturally safe health care to Indigenous populations.

In this contract role, you will work within a dedicated team to provide trauma-informed care for First Nations clients. Your responsibilities will include observing patient progress, supporting health promotion, and advocating for culturally safe practices in all patient interactions. You will travel within the community to provide care directly at various sites each week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive primary care to clients

• Assess and document health outcomes effectively

• Facilitate health promotion through evidence-based practices

• Maintain a racism-free and culturally safe environment

• Embrace a two-eyed seeing approach in care

Requirements:

• BSN or equivalent nursing qualification

• Licensed Registered Nurse in British Columbia

• Experience working with First Nations clients

• 3+ years in primary care or public health

• Current CPR certification and BC Driver's License
