Fraser Health is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse to work in the Inpatient Psychiatry Unit. This position provides the opportunity to engage in person-centered care while collaborating with an interprofessional team. Candidates will utilize their nursing expertise to assess, plan, and implement recovery-oriented psychiatric care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients

• Participate actively in the therapeutic program

• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team

• Advocate for patient rights and dignity

• Mentor new nursing staff and students

Requirements:

• Current registration with BCCNM as a Nurse

• Background in mental health and substance use treatment

• Strong communication and crisis intervention skills

• Ability to collaborate in a team environment

• Completion of substance use certificate may be required
