Position: Registered Nurse for Indigenous Health Care
Support Indigenous clients’ health needs as a Registered Nurse with Fraser Health. Provide assessments and educational services within culturally sensitive frameworks.

Fraser Health is hiring an Indigenous Health Liaison Nurse to plan and evaluate healthcare services for Indigenous communities. You will focus on effective consultation, health education, and advocacy, bridging gaps between clients and essential health services.

Your role will emphasize culturally respectful care and health promotion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a liaison for clients and healthcare team

• Conduct comprehensive health assessments and screenings

• Promote health education and behavior change

• Advocate for Indigenous health issues in community settings

• Document nursing care and maintain statistics

Requirements:

• RN registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses

• Two years of relevant nursing experience required

• Knowledge of Indigenous cultures and health protocols

• Must possess a valid BC Driver's License

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
