Position: Fraser Health Registered Nurse - Addictions

In this role, you will work alongside an interprofessional team to provide comprehensive nursing care for patients experiencing substance use challenges. Your responsibilities will include assessing patient needs, planning care strategies, and engaging in crisis intervention. The focus is on providing a culturally responsive and trauma-informed approach to promote recovery and self-determination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized plans

• Facilitate group discussions and health education sessions

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes

• Document clinical observations and patient progress

• Advocate for patient rights and access to resources

Requirements:

• RN/RPN with BCCNM registration

• One year of relevant experience in addiction care

• Current First Aid and CPR certification

• Strong interpersonal and assessment skills

• Knowledge of mental health treatment protocols
