Nursing Coordinator for TB at FNHA

Be a key player at FNHA as a Nursing Coordinator overseeing CDC and TB initiatives. Your impactful role will directly support health and wellness in First Nations across British Columbia.

In this part-time, temporary position, you will coordinate various public health initiatives, requiring a nursing degree and 3-5 years in public health nursing, specifically in TB. You will implement screening programs, oversee case management, and engage with community health organizations to optimize TB health strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead TB screening initiatives and case management

• Coordinate clinical activities with BCCDC and partners

• Guide TB nurse advisors in their roles

• Participate in developing training for CDC staff

• Assess and improve community health strategies

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited university

• Current BC College of Nurses and Midwives registration

• 3-5 years in public health nursing focused on TB

• Flexibility to travel to First Nations communities

• Experience with PANORAMA data systems is beneficial
