Registered Nurse for Mental Health Care

Make a difference in mental health as a Registered Nurse with Fraser Health. This role focuses on collaboration within an interdisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care for individuals with mental illness and concurrent disorders.

Fraser Health requires a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse committed to holistic care. You will coordinate and provide treatment services while assessing and developing personalized care plans based on client needs. Engage with clients in a culturally responsive manner to promote recovery and independence, ensuring a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate care with interprofessional health teams

• Conduct mental health assessments and formulate care plans

• Provide direct nursing care including medication administration

• Establish therapeutic relationships with clients and families

• Document and monitor client progress and care plans

Requirements:

• Graduation from approved nursing program

• Minimum two years of related experience

• Current registration with BCCNM

• Valid BC Driver's License and access to a vehicle

• Knowledge of mental health and substance use treatments
