As soon as possible

• Budding trees
• Clean the crops
• Clear and collect brush and debris from fields and other work areas
• Greenhouse cleaning
• Harvest seedlings
• Mixing fertilizer
• Remove manually all suckers and water sprouts
• Tie and secure plants
• Train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality
• Weeding
• Spray or dust plants with insecticides and fungicides
• Assist in pruning trees, shrubs and plants
• Mix and prepare soils
• Plant bulbs and seeds
• Pot and re-pot plants
• Transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings
• Apply fertilizers
• Report signs of insect or disease damage
• Dig up wrapping rootballs of trees and shrubs
• Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens
• Clean work area
• Drive work truck to different locations

• Education: Some high school is required
• Experience: Experience is an asset. On-the-job training will be provided.
• Driver’s license is required
• Experience using chain saw, mechanical sprayer, and light trucks is a strong asset
• Must take direction and abide by safety rules

$18.75 per hour, 40 to 50 hours per week

• Accommodation provided at a discounted rate
• Travel expenses paid by the employer if worker needs to relocate
• Transportation to and from the work location is provided by the employer
• A vehicle is provided for work-related matters only
• Learning/training paid by the employer

Regular schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM. However, flexibility in schedule is required, based on the business’s needs. Overtime is required. Weekend work may be required.
