Overview

JOB DESCRIPTION Under the general direction of the Manager, Surveillance, this position is responsible for monitoring the day-to-day activities of Surveillance Officers at the site level as well as monitoring interior and exterior areas of a property by closed circuit television cameras. Ensures adherence to the Company's policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian's learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.

• Monitors Surveillance Operators; verifies timesheets; provides input for performance evaluations
• Monitors, documents and reports violations, large cash/cash equivalent transactions, excluded and self-excluded guests and unauthorized access
• Maintains logs; prepares daily reports; stores records securely for evidence purposes
• Monitors, documents and reports on the condition of surveillance facilities and equipment; performs preventative maintenance on equipment as required
• Trains new team members
• Communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
• Builds strong working relationships with guests and team members
• Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
• Manages other initiatives as required

• Must be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Post secondary education in criminology an asset
• Minimum 2 years of surveillance experience in a gaming environment
• Serving it Right Certification
• Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License

• Sitting for long periods of time and non-traditional work hours
