Security & Front Desk Attendant Position

Join Ruth & Naomi’s Mission as a Front Desk Attendant, dedicated to providing security and support at our Family Centre. Your contribution will help create a safe haven for those in need within the community.

In this role, you’ll monitor access to the facility while welcoming guests and maintaining a clean reception area. Regular patrols and effective documentation will be part of your responsibilities. Ideal candidates will have experience with vulnerable populations and possess strong communication skills to enhance patron safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome visitors at the reception desk

• Conduct facility patrols for safety

• Manage building access and document visitor logs

• Complete Shift Activity and Incident Reports

• Respond to emergencies and assist as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 1+ years experience in security or front desk roles

• Valid First Aid & CPR certification required

• Strong situational awareness and communication skills

• Preferred experience with at-risk populations
