In this flexible, on-call role, you'll work at locations such as commercial properties, retail centres, industrial facilities, and special events. Your duties may include customer service, access control, mobile patrols, incident response, and monitoring security systems. • Competitive hourly wage starting from $18.25 to $22.00+/hour, depending on the site, assignment, experience, and responsibilities.

• Maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols.
• Monitor and control site access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies.
• Monitor CCTV and security systems.
• Complete incident reports and activity logs.
• Liaise with emergency services and site management.
• Enforce site policies and safety procedures.
• Provide reception and concierge security services as needed.
• Perform lock-up/unlock procedures and security checks.
• Assist with emergency evacuations when required.
• Operate security and communication equipment.
• Perform site-specific security duties as assigned.

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid BC security license
• First aid certification - an asset
• BC Driver's licence - an asset
• Ability to work/pick up minimum 3 shifts per month
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations
• Strong problem-solving skills
