Help enhance the lives of seniors as a Recreation Aide with West Coast Seniors Housing Management. Assist in developing and maintaining engaging recreational programs in a supportive environment.

Reporting to the Recreation Manager, you will work collaboratively to implement activity programs that meet the diverse needs of residents.

Your role includes publicizing events, providing support during activities, and maintaining safety protocols to ensure a positive experience for all.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and evaluating recreational services

• Promote established programs like crafts and games

• Document resident observations and safety compliance

• Coordinate in-house and community events

• Support new residents in their orientation process

Requirements:

• Grade 12 education mandatory

• Diploma in Recreation or equivalent experience

• Valid Class 4 driver's license necessary

• Must pass a criminal record check

• Physical ability to handle up to 25 lbs
