As a Youth Support Worker at PCRS, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team aimed at helping vulnerable youth aged 13–18.
Your role involves facilitating programs, supporting emotional regulation, and de-escalating crisis situations. You will also contribute to daily documentation while embodying trauma-informed practices to help youth navigate their personal challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support daily needs and activities of youth participants
• Facilitate and co-facilitate therapeutic group sessions
• Respond to crises with trauma-informed de-escalation
• Participate in program activities as a positive role model
• Document cases, incidents, and team updates effectively
Requirements:
• Knowledge of youth work and trauma-informed practices
• Cultural awareness and sensitivity in diverse settings
• Experience with behavioral and mental health challenges
• Effective use of Microsoft Office and database software
• Capacity for self-care awareness and personal bias recognition
