Immigrant Support Worker

Enhance the integration experience for immigrants and their families as an Immigrant Support Worker. This role focuses on case management, needs assessment, and community resource navigation.

We are seeking a dynamic professional with a diploma in Human or Social Services and a minimum of two years’ recent experience in Immigrant Services. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and possess a valid Driver’s License. This role is vital for ensuring clients can navigate social, legal, and economic systems effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruit, train, and support volunteers for program delivery

• Conduct in-depth client intake and needs assessments

• Manage cases and create actionable plans with clients

• Guide clients through challenges in settlement and integration

• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress

Requirements:

• Diploma in Human/Social Services or related field

• Minimum two years of experience in Immigrant Services

• Valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle

• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

• Knowledge of immigrant settlement processes
