Chilliwack Women's Addiction Recovery Role

Make a difference with Ruth and Naomi's Mission as a Recovery Support Worker for the Women's Addiction Recovery Program in Chilliwack, BC. This casual position includes primarily overnight hours and focuses on nurturing a supportive environment.

We are seeking passionate Recovery Support Workers who are committed to assisting women in their path to recovery. Leveraging the Genesis Process, you will guide participants while ensuring a structured and grace-filled atmosphere. Ideal candidates will be flexible to work evenings and weekends, contributing to meaningful change in the lives of those they serve.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate structured activities for life skills development

• Provide emotional support and crisis intervention

• Maintain a safe and positive recovery environment

• Document accurately while collaborating with the team

• Assist in group facilitation efforts

Requirements:

• Training in addiction recovery or social services desirable

• Knowledge of trauma-informed practices necessary

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check must be cleared

• A personal relationship with Jesus Christ required
