Position: Live Haul Driver for FVSP
Drive for Fraser Valley Specialty Poultry as a dedicated Live Haul Driver in Yarrow, BC. Transport live poultry safely during overnight shifts, ensuring animal welfare standards are met.

This full-time role involves operating a live haul truck from 6PM to 5:30AM, Sunday through Thursday. You will be responsible for pre-trip vehicle inspections, loading and unloading live birds with care, and maintaining accurate trip logs. Your efforts directly support FVSP's commitment to quality and safety throughout the poultry supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a live haul truck between farms and processing facility

• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

• Load and unload live birds following welfare best practices

• Maintain accurate trip documentation and logs

• Clean and sanitize trucks to ensure biosecurity

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 driver’s license with clean record

• Experience hauling livestock or poultry

• Comfort with overnight shifts in diverse weather

• Ability to lift and handle live bird crates

• Good communication with farm staff and dispatch
