This full-time temporary role is key to overseeing the district's transportation services, focusing on operational excellence and safety. You will balance route planning with fleet management, ensuring cost-effective solutions while fostering community relationships. Directly report to the Director of Facilities & Transportation while also engaging key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and ensure efficient school bus fleet operations

• Develop and implement safety procedures and protocols

• Collaborate with community partners and schools for service needs

• Analyze performance metrics and budget forecasts

• Direct training and support for transportation staff

Requirements:

• Grade 12 plus relevant post-secondary qualifications

• Five years of experience in student transportation management

• Proven skills in compliance with transportation regulations

• Excellent interpersonal and conflict-resolution abilities

• Ability to adapt to evolving operational needs
